Table Assembly Information

Cornilleau tables are designed for self-assembly. Whilst straightforward to build, the table tops are large and heavy (definitely a two-person job) and some tools are needed (none of which are supplied).

On average we suggest allowing 90 minutes for self-assembly. There's no drilling or measuring required, just nuts, bolts and screws etc. (over 80% are built by our customers).

However, if you prefer not to build your table we offer this assembly service.

Please note:

Only available when ordering a Cornilleau table tennis table.

We need a clean, dry and well-lit area in which to build the table. The bare minimum undercover space needed for assembly is 8’ x 10’ (243cm x 305cm).

We also require sufficient free parking for a high-top van for a minimum of 90 minutes (this needs to be within sight of the assembly address).

The delivery team are unable to take away the packaging. Whilst councils are happy for their residents to leave the cardboard out for recycling they will not allow us to do the same (nor do they allow us to use their recycling centres).

The assembly service does not include our staff drilling static tables to the floor (they are not qualified to do this). Most schools choose to leave their static tables free-standing anyway.

Pro review

The latest version of the Cornilleau Sport 250s Crossover has a new design and much bigger wheels. This helps when transporting it over gravel and uneven ground. The Cornilleau Sport 250s is the first in the range to have their patented DSi folding system, which is the safest and simplest available.The playing surface has a soft-matt finish that reduces glare by three times on bright sunny days. It also has a very clever net (with tension adjustment) that can be pushed flat against the table frame (like the wing-mirror of a car). This protects the posts from being broken. It benefits from a ten year warranty. The legs are strong and boast levelling feet plus it has good quality wheels. It also has a storage area for bats and balls.

The benefits of the next model up (the Sport 300S) are that it has a slightly stronger frame and thicker legs.

The net & post set is an integral part of the table, although some retailers claim they are giving this as a free accessory!

Delivery

Deliveries are usually made within 10 working days. You will be contacted by our couriers prior to delivery. On the arranged day you receive a call around 30 minutes before arrival and some tracking information first thing that morning. The couriers operate a two-man service to a garage or garden (where reasonable access is available). Due to the pandemic the couriers will not enter houses at the moment.

We cannot deliver Cornilleau tables to the following postcode areas: All IV : KA27 to KA28 : All KW : PA20+ : PH32+ Nor can we deliver to any offshore locations
