Keep your outdoor table in tip top condition

Outdoor tables are built to take the weather — a regular wash keeps the surface clean and playing well all year round.

  • Wash it like a car

Use a bucket of warm, soapy water. Do not use a pressure washer on the table.

  • Rinse thoroughly

Rinse the table down with clean water to remove all soap.

  • Use a squeegee

Use a squeegee to clear excess water for the best, streak-free finish.

Only wash outdoor tables.
This guidance is for outdoor tables only — do not use this method on indoor tables.

How to clean your indoor table

Indoor tables need to be cleaned with extreme care. Keep them dry and never use chemicals or abrasive cloths.

  • Handle with extreme care

It is very important not to get the surface wet and not to use chemicals or abrasive cloths.

  • Remove dust gently

To remove dust, use a very slightly moistened soft cloth that leaves no residual water on the surface.

  • Use a specialist spray

For best results we recommend a specialist table tennis cleaning spray.

Regular cleaning helps maintain performance and appearance.

Use a slightly damp microfibre cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner.

Avoid harsh chemicals, solvents and abrasive cloths that damage the surface.

Avoid placing heavy items on the table when folded — it can warp the wood.

Store your table in a dry indoor space at a stable temperature, away from heat.

Check it. Tighten it.

Keep it playing perfectly

Give your table a regular once-over to make sure everything that should be tight, is tight.

  • Prevent bigger problems

Loose nuts and bolts put stress on other parts and can cause snapping, cracking or warping over time.

  • Make it last longer

A well-maintained table stays stronger for longer, so you avoid unnecessary wear and tear.

  • Play with confidence

A solid, stable table means a better bounce, safer play and more enjoyment every time.

  • Make it a habit

Check your table regularly — it only takes a few minutes and saves you hassle later.
