Rollaway Tables for School Use
For schools we would highly recommend Cornilleau rollaway table tennis tables for outdoor use, ideally from the Sport 250 and above. The reason for this is that Cornilleau have what's called a DSI safety system, making them extremely safe for children to fold and unfold. The tables also have a lower centre of gravity than most table tennis tables when in their folded position, which makes them less likely to topple over and therefore even safer. The weatherproofing on all Cornilleau tables is also fantastic.
We would recommend the Sport 400, as it is very strong and durable or in an ideal world the Cornilleau Sport 500 as this is built like a battleship.
Static Tables for School Use
Most schools want static tables as they can be left outside all year round and can be bolted to the ground. The best static table we sell is the Cornilleau Proline 510 Outdoor table tennis table. This table is again fully weatherproof and built like a battleship.
It can be bolted to the playground if necessary, though to be honest most schools don't find the need for this. This table is a fraction of the price of a concrete table and in all honesty it is just as good. If someone is determined to vandalise a concrete table, it is certainly possible, but the cost of repairs is much higher.
If you're looking for a static table for a park or sports ground it might be worth looking at the Cornilleau Park table tennis table. This is a much stronger static table that has been designed specially to be able to withstand huge amounts of weight, be shock and burn resistant, and easy to clean. This table also has the option of sand trays, ground anchors or bolts to keep it in place.
