The Sport 300M is the first in the Cornilleau range with a Mat-Top finish. This means you get less shine or glare on the table-top on bright days. It has excellent weatherproofing, a very clever net (with height and tension adjustment) which automatically folds away as the table closes and re-appears when you unfold it. This protects the posts from being broken by a football etc.
It has a neat, tidy storage position and benefits from the industry's quickest and safest folding system. It also comes with a ten-year table-top warranty and a great accessory pack. The frame is slightly thicker than the 200. The legs are strong and it has good quality wheels. It also has a storage area for the bats and balls.
The benefits of the next model up (the Sport 400) are a thicker table top which gives a slightly better bounce, leg levellers (designed for use on uneven ground, but in practice is less important than you would think. Unlike games like Snooker and Pool, where the game is ruined if the table isn't perfectly level, there is little noticeable effect with table tennis, because the ball hits the surface for a split second), a covered area for the bats to be stored and padded corners.
