All Kettler outdoor tables benefit from a 22mm top, which comprises of a wood board encased in Aluminium. This provides an excellent bounce as well as a strong surface with good weatherproofing. They also all have an anti-dazzle finish which gives less shine on the table on bright days.
However, whilst this has an excellent top the frame is quite thin and the wheels are not very good (only two steer, the other two are rigid making it harder to manoeuver). We would strongly recommend moving up the range if the budget allows. The Stockholm has a much sturdier frame (45mm tubing instead of 25mm, plus an extra support between the legs at each end), a net that stays in place when you fold the table, better quality wheels (plus all four steer) that also have brakes. It can also be unfolded by one person (the classic need two). If you don't want to stretch to a Stockholm and you are looking for a strong, competitively priced entry level table we'd suggest the Butterfly Easifold
